X-File of the Day- March 11, 2008

Yay: Nothing really to be happy about in this one. I liked this episode...but it creeped me out. Still, any epsiode with Gun!Scully makes me jump on my couch and cheer her on. Execept... I wasn't entirely sure if she should have shot him. I don't know how in character that was. I mean, one could argue that she's too rational to have acted so impulsively. Still others could argue that Pfaster was the only one to completely scare her and break her rationality. This episode make me think a bit, which is always good.
Boo: Uhh... the whole thing was pretty scary, which is good in my book! I don't think I'll be watching it again anytime soon, though.
X-File of the Day- March 12, 2008
Rain King (I figured I could use some cheerfulness)
Yay: Scully in the bathroom. You all know what I'm talking about.... "Like a switch has been flicked." I fell off the couch laughing when Sheila pinned Mulder against the wall and laid a big one on him. And the height Scully's eyebrow reached was astounding. YAY FLUFF.
Boo: I thought the actress who played Sheila might have been overacting it a little. And at some points the episode seemed like it was trying too hard to make me laugh. My favorite thing about the X-Files is that it never blatantly shoves me into funny situations with funny people who have funny words. Mulder and Scully just create their own wit and banter, which I enjoy far better than sitcom humor.

Orison was creepy but GA was terrific in it. As always!!
OMG Rain King has such cute moments but they do seem to be trying to hard to get some humour in there. There were some very funny scenes though nonetheless!!!
