Hello faithful readers!
It is with great sadness that I must postpone my XF reviews untill sometime next week. I've just had everything piled on me this week--standardized tests, two screenplays (both of which are due tomorrow), and I have auditions for my theatre company on Monday (which I am woefully unprepared for). Please forgive me. I promise I will be back with my sometimes cheerful, always entertaining reviews NEXT WEEK!
And thank you all for the comments! It's always nice to know someone's reading what I've written. :)
With love and X-Filish wishes,
Audrey

X-File(s) of the Day(s)
April 19-21, 2008
Jose Chung's From Outer Space
Yay: "I just had a little alien experience." Love love love!!! Hilarity. I think the third season is growing on me, what with all of this comedy I've seen so far. "They just found your bleepin UFO."
Boo: I didn't like the guy who kept saying "This is not happening." It reminded me of a time far, far into the future in which a tragic episode was based on that line. Sniff sniff.
Home
Yay: Oh goodness. Um, the M/S conversations were nice. "Meanwhile, I've quit the F.B.I. and become a spokesperson for the Ab-roller." And the pigpen moment.
Boo: Not so much Boo as disgusting. Very gross episode.
Signs and Wonders
Yay: Uh, solid episode. Nothing particularly outstanding on the MSR front, but contrary to popular belief, the CASES are the focus of the show.
Boo: Have I mentioned I hate snakes? Enough said.

April 13-18, 2008
Memento Mori (Have I reviewed this one already? Can't remember. I watched it again the other day)
Yay: The hallway scene at the end. :) What did you expect? This was a great episode all around, really. Exceptionally sad, but great. "Put on something black and sexy and get ready to do some funky poaching."
Boo: The green goo was gross? Seriously, there is nothing wrong with this episode except for the fact that it gives Scully cancer.
Chinga
Yay: The pencils!!! "Scully....Marry me."
Boo: OMG THIS WAS SCARY. Seriously. I own many porcelain dolls and I am this close to sticking all of them in the microwave just like Scully. Also, if I ever hear "I want to play" or the Hokey Pokey again, I might have some sort of an attack.
Unusual Suspects
Yay: I liked this one, even though Scully was oddly absent. Meeting the Lone Gunman was wildly entertaining. "Narc."
Boo: Where was Scully? *sniffle* I know, I know, it was 1989.
Triangle
Yay: 1939!Scully is awesome. I loved her dress. And the fight scene choreographed to big band music?? FREAKING SWEET. And Kersh was Jamaican! HAHAHA. Plus, we get a KISS!!!! "Scully... I love you." "Oh brother." If you only knew, Scully.
Boo: How exactly did Scully and the gunmen get on the ship if it was a 'ghost ship'? That confused me.
Never Again
Yay: Mulder was being extremely ass-like in the beginning. "So you’re refusing an assignment based on the adventures of Moose and Squirrel?"
Boo: Good episode--hated what went on in the episode. Scully, Scully, Scully. Have you learned nothing? Your tattoo is kind of fabulous, though. Ed Jerse, however, is psychotic, not fabulous.
Drive
Yay: Great MOTW! "Now, the sun will rise in America tomorrow regardless of whether or not we're at yet another farm investigating yet another enormous pile of doo-doo." Greatest line. "Well, on behalf of the international Jewish conspiracy, I just need to inform you that we're almost out of gas." Whoever wrote this episode, I thank you.
Boo: Extremely disgusting when the head blew up. EXTREMELY. But, hey. I'm used to it by now.

Prom.

I'm feeling outmanuvered and outclassed/ But I'm so happy I can't be worried
I finally have time to write a nice, leisurely blog entry. It's a nice feeling.
I had prom last night. A full picture blog will be up as soon as I can track down that darned camera cord that is hell bent on staying hidden underneath my computer desk in the midst of the rest of my cords.
So. Life is good. I'm not even behind on Script Frenzy yet. I'm so proud. Speaking of, I really need to go buy my shirt for that. And my Frankie and Larry shirt.
And my novel really needs to be sent out. Again, if I promised you a copy, give me one more chance and comment. Eventually I'll learn to be punctual and do things when I say I will. :)
Alright. I'm off to watch XF. My day begins....

X-Files of the Week-- Ultimate Collectors Edition Style!
Oooookay. Here we go. :)
April 1-7, 2008
Within
Yay: Can I just begin by saying I love Scully's Theme? That song is on my iPod. I listen to it while I'm sleeping. :) And I loved when Scully fell asleep with Mulder's shirt. So sweet. So sad.
Boo: I remembered why I hated John Doggett.
Without
Yay: Nice Scully/Skinner gun scene.
Boo: Poor Gibson!! Poor guy Fake!Scully choked!! Poor everyone!!! Except Doggett.
Per Manum
Yay: Umm, the end scene?? "Never give up on a miracle." And what miracle might that be, agents? The miracle from a magical episode called all things??? I love her poofy hair in the flashbacks as well.
Boo: EWWWWALIENBABY.
Three Words
Yay: Wow. FTF references. Nice. "Then maybe the question is not who fired this magic bullet, but whether or not it was a lone gunman." I really liked that line. Perhaps it was the Lone Gunmen reference. :) And speaking of Gunmen, good job on this ep, guys. Outstanding funky poaching.
Boo: KERSSSSSSSH. Also, when we calculate time in XF Land, do we include the summer hiatus? Because if so--and still even without it-- Scully has been pregnant for an uncomfortably long time. I just noticed that this episode. I know they were saving it for a season finale but--come on, CC, did you honestly think no one would notice the EVERLASTING PREGNANCY???
Hollywood AD (Way out of order, I know)
Yay: All of the cute stuff at the end. The hand holding, the zombie dancing. Wonderful. Props, Mr. Duchovny, on another episode with MSR for me. "I'm going to see if this bowl has Christ's Greatest Hits on it." Best line ever. :)
Boo: The dancing bones were a bit much. Really.
Milagro
Yay: Wonderful episode in general. Very cool camera work, especially when it revolves around Scully at that one part. (11:21!! It's 11:21 right now) The writing is great, stupendous. I can't say how much I liked this episode. I'll even say love. I loved this episode.
Boo: Horrible writer. (Padgett, I mean) You disgrace writers. :( And also, another gross XF episode. Ripping out organs--yum! Not.
Today's XF will be posted tomorrow, as I am watching it right now. Next up: The Unnatural!

I need some sleep!!!
Hyper. Hyper. Hyper.
This is me NOT working on my screenplay!
OMG. So hyper.
I watched a bunch of XF special features today. I learned how they burned CSM's face off. Yeah, you deserve it, you ass. Being all cool with your neck smoker thing. I hope being set on fire by a bomb HURT REALLY BAD.
I'm posting all my XF reviews tomorrow. And I've got lots of them. I've just been skipping from episode to episode. I watched 5 yesterday--gooooooo ME!
Lala. I've started paying attention in math now and stopped in chemistry. Look for more doodles at the end of the week.
Oooh! Oooh! Look at this hella nifty picture I took in NYC!
I took it at the Roxy Deli. Best cheescake EVER IN MY LIFETIME. Also, outrageous and insane prices.
WOOH!! I feel so hyper. Maybe I'm drunk. I haven't actually consumed anything that would make me drunk but I did make the characters in my screenplay drunk so maybe I'm drunk by association.
But they were stumbly drunk. I'm wired fake drunk.
I think I'll end this blog for my own health.
Love you all!

The truth is out there.
I recieved the X-Files Ultimate Collection for my birthday.
My life is complete.
(My XF reviews will be up soon. I apologize for the huge delay!! I've been busy. And I know I use that excuse all of the time, but truly. I'm almost sick because I've gotten about 9 hours total sleep this weekend. But I think I'll be alright with a good dose of David Duchovny and birthday cake.)

EDIT:
Me and my XF collection! (today, actually, not at the party)
Me at the party in my dress :)
The glitter in my hair that my friends dumped on me while singing Happy Birthday.

I've gone slightly mad.
I'm tiiiiiiired.
And I know I should be posting my XF review, but I'm waiting because I thought you guys would like to hear a bit from me. :)
Script Frenzy started. I'm 10 pages in. It's pretty fun, but I'm having a hard time not being prettily descriptive. Remember, I like my flowery words.
La la la la la la. I'm so bored. Yesterday, I got so bored I downloaded a massive amount of Hilary Duff and went crazy as I did my math homework. Speaking of, I never really pay attention in math anymore. I mostly doodle XF drawings.
Okay. More later. There's supposed to be a huge storm tonight, and I'll probably be up because they scare me.

X-File of the Day
March 31, 2008
Squeeze
Yay: I think "Spooky Mulder" and "Mrs. Spooky" are charming nicknames. :) The Save!Scully scene was awesome. Scary, but awesome. And necklace touching?!?!
Boo: I hate Tom Colton. And Tooms is freaky.
April 1, 2008
Tooms
Yay: "Mulder, I wouldn't put myself on the line for anyone but you." "If there's an iced tea in that bag, it could be love." Do I even need to add commentary?
Boo: My MSR was ruined with yucky case files. I liked it, though. :)
I would like to announce that this is the last X-File of the Day review. I know I promised to keep them going, but I'm so busy with school and my script writing competition, I'm not sure I'll even have time for the X-Files anymore. Sorry.**
**APRIL FOOLS! I love you guys.
